Minus Linus

This one just cracks me up.

With Linus out of the picture, Snoopy could turn any direction he wants to sneeze.  Or not even turn at all.  Instead, he seems to have such disdain for Charlie Brown that he purposely blows snot all over him.

And Charlie Brown’s expression seems to have 10 times more resignation in it than it would have otherwise.  He knows that Snoopy purposely sneezed on him.  And that the fact that his house of cards was destroyed in the process is completely secondary.  Snoopy wasn’t even aiming for it.

I never realized how much of a buffer Linus was between Charlie Brown and the other characters’ cruelty until I took him away.
