I am a lifelong Peanuts devotee. I started drawing comics myself because of my love of it (you can see the blatant ripoff of similarity to his style here).
Actually, Linus is probably my favorite Peanuts character. He’s philosophical, and yet, at times, especially in earlier strips, he is not hesitant to volunteer how stupid he is.
He’s easily amused, usually smiling, and might be the only character who is pretty much always friendly towards Charlie Brown. There’s a lot to like about the guy.
And so, naturally, I erased him! 😉 I have been a fan of Garfield Minus Garfield for many years, and for whatever reason, the phrase “Minus Linus” popped into my warped mind recently, and I had to see what that would look like. Being warped, it amused me, and now, unfortunately, you’re paying the price for that. You’re welcome. 😉
